Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to paid consulting engagements and discovery calls described on this site. Pricing on the site is informational; the engagement letter controls commercial terms for a specific project.

Refund eligibility

Full refund of fees paid is available if we cancel an engagement before kickoff for reasons on our side. Partial refunds may apply when you cancel after kickoff according to the schedule below. Completed deliverables that have been presented in a readout are non-refundable.

Timeframe & cancellation schedule

• Cancel 14 or more days before the scheduled kickoff: full refund of the commencement deposit minus any non-refundable third-party booking costs we incurred with your written approval (for example prepaid field travel).
• Cancel fewer than 14 days before kickoff but before work begins: 50% of the commencement deposit retained; remainder refunded.
• After kickoff and before mid-engagement invoice: fees for work completed to date are due; unused prepaid amounts may be partially refunded at our discretion based on hours already delivered.
• After delivery of the written brief or final readout: no refund.

Discovery calls

Discovery call fees are refundable if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Later cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable. If you proceed to a full engagement within 30 days, the call fee is credited as stated on the rates page.

Rescheduling

Kickoff and field days may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least seven days’ notice and we have calendar capacity. Additional reschedules may incur a scheduling fee of NT$6,000 to cover coordination.

Deposits

A commencement deposit (typically 40% of the project fee) reserves advisor time and confirms the calendar. Deposits are applied to the project balance and are subject to the cancellation schedule above.

Work already started & materials

Time spent on document review, workshops, field walks, and draft writing is billable. Pre-approved travel or research materials purchased for your engagement are non-refundable once purchased.

Retainers

Monthly retainers for seasonal capacity advisory are billed in advance. Unused days within a month do not roll over unless the engagement letter says otherwise. Cancel a retainer with 30 days’ written notice; the current month is non-refundable after it begins.

Refund process & method

Email info@pulse-nova-fx.click with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and payment details used. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Exceptions

If we are unable to deliver the agreed brief due to our failure, you may receive a full refund of fees paid for undelivered work. Force majeure events (severe weather blocking essential field days, government travel restrictions) may lead to rescheduling first; if rescheduling is impossible within 90 days, unused prepaid fees are refunded.
